The Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) is one of the most important film festivals in Latin America. It is held annually in Cartagena, Colombia, and focuses on the best of Ibero-American and world cinema.
The festival has an official competition that selects the best films in the categories of fiction, documentary, short films and animation. In addition, FICCI hosts retrospectives, special exhibitions, and educational programs for emerging filmmakers.
Since its first edition in 1960, the festival has served as a platform to promote the talent of Colombian and Latin American filmmakers, contributing to the consolidation of cinema as an art form and expression in the region.
During FICCI you will be able to enjoy a wide range of films from all over the world, from the most innovative and independent to the most outstanding and critically acclaimed works. In addition, the festival hosts several events for filmmakers, actors, producers, and film lovers, including workshops, conferences, and panel discussions. Check out the agenda here.
